Podcast
Out of all the technology resources introduced during the ITS program, I find Podcast the most challenging tool to integrate in a classroom. It's probably because I was taught the importance of visual language (graphics, images, and videos). I found a podcast that discusses the educational value of podcasting that helped: Click Here.

Sang, this was great! One of the AH HA moments that I had about podcasts was that they allow the listener to hear and "feel" the interplay of conversation and thought process between multiple people. It is harder to feel your way through a conversation in print, but when the two co-host here in this podcast banter back and forth, it really adds something. Thanks for the post and expanding my view!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you, Podcasts really are this tricky little tool that you can use, but just how is the question! I really like the idea of encouraging students to create them, but the problem is in the High School classroom when time is such a limitation.
